Dr Joanne Redpath
Joanne Redpath qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 2002 and has worked with Appletree since 2010. She was a finalist for the UK Aesthetic Dentistry Awards 2016 in both the Single Crown and Patient Choice categories, and was previously selected as a finalist in The Dentistry Awards 2011 for Best Young Dentist in Northern Ireland.
Joanne has completed Bioclear Anterior and Posterior training and keeps her knowledge current through continuing professional development. Find out about Bioclear at Appletree.
For patients with a busy schedule, late evening appointments are available with Joanne.
Joanne is very impressed with our Zoom Whitening in surgery and feels it is the best tooth whitening system she has ever worked with. She also enjoys restoring smiles with crowns and building up broken-down teeth with root canals prior to crowns.
Keeping up to date is very important to Joanne — she attends the annual Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry Conference and was in attendance at the Dr Gerard Chiche Smile Design Conference at the Titanic Centre, Belfast. Learning from this dental guru led to her completion of The Perfect Smile Studios and Institute’s interdisciplinary and comprehensive 7-day hands-on course. She attends many further courses each year.
Joanne aims to improve the dental health and aesthetics of each person she sees, looking carefully at what will work in their mouth. As standard she photographs teeth to record dental health and assess aesthetics, discusses all options with the patient, then decides the best route together. Written treatment plans outlining costs and a letter outlining your dental health are provided.
Joanne has a great ability to put patients at ease, and ensures she formulates a long-term plan for your teeth whilst also enhancing aesthetics. She uses magnifying loupes and a LED light for all treatments.
If you are nervous about dental treatment, Joanne welcomes the opportunity to talk through your concerns. She has helped many nervous patients over the years and takes a patient approach to dental anxiety.
Away from dentistry, Joanne enjoys gardening and volunteers with Carlingford Tidy Towns, where she has served as Chairperson.
