Cosmetic dentistry — refining your smile, gently
A confident smile changes how you feel in photographs, in conversations and in the mirror. Modern cosmetic dentistry is much more than veneers — it’s a careful conversation about what you’d like to change, and a choice of treatments matched to your teeth, not to a sales script.

How we approach cosmetic work
Cosmetic dentistry isn’t one treatment — it’s choosing the right one. We use clinical photography as standard for cosmetic planning so you can see what we’re proposing before committing to anything. Where a less invasive option (like Bioclear) will achieve the same result, we’ll always offer it first.
Dr Joanne Redpath and Dr Katrina McKevitt lead our cosmetic work, with experience in single-tooth aesthetic restorations through to full-arch smile transformations.

Frequently asked
What’s the difference between Bioclear, bonding and veneers?
Bioclear and bonding both use composite (tooth-coloured resin) bonded onto your natural tooth, usually with little or no preparation of healthy tooth. Veneers are thin ceramic shells, glass-strong and very stain-resistant, but they require a layer of enamel to be filed away first. Bioclear is often the better-value, more reversible option for closing gaps, fixing chips and refreshing worn front teeth. Veneers suit larger transformations where shape, alignment or colour changes are extensive.
Will my new teeth look fake?
No — well-done cosmetic work is invisible. Veneers and Bioclear are colour-matched and shaped to suit your face; we don’t do “Hollywood white” unless that’s what you specifically ask for.
How long do cosmetic treatments last?
Composite bonding and Bioclear are designed to last many years with good care; porcelain veneers and crowns typically 10–15 years or more. We’ll talk you through realistic expectations at your consultation.
